The people of Withernsea are warmly invited by the Mayor of Withernsea, Councillor Jacqui Blackburn to join her at 4pm on Sunday 11th September to lay flowers at the Jubilee Garden in the Italian Gardens, to give thanks to the Queen for her seventy years of service to her people. It will be a Withernsea floral tribute and also a place where we can stand and pause to reflect on our experiences and memories of her reign.
All welcome.
Just a few short weeks ago we all came together in celebration of the Platinum Jubilee. Now we will stand together in remembrance.
Information regarding a book of condolence will be issued soon.
