CHRISTMAS LIGHTS SWITCH-ON
Local Groups & Charity Stalls
Last year was an unprecedented year in so many ways and impacted dramatically on all our lives, and the Christmas Lights Switch-On did not escape. With almost 2 years of disruption, Christmas Lights, like so many, have struggled to raise funds during this period. As a result, there are changes to the event this year. Whilst there will be a build-up to the Switch-On, the event will be shorter than in previous years.
We are inviting organisations to run a stall in order to raise funds for their charity/cause.
If you would like to book a space for your stall, please see our terms below and then complete the online Stall Booking Form.
Please be aware that the event will be just over 1 hour in length from 5 pm (set-up 4:30 pm).
Stall Booking Terms
Vehicle entry onto Valley Gardens will be from 4:30pm, access before this time is PROHIBITED.
ONLY PRE-BOOKED stalls on site. Pre booked participants will be ALLOCATED A SET UP ON ARRIVAL. Please DO NOT arrive earlier and attempt to set up before the permitted time. Marshalls will be present and monitoring this during the day.
A non refundable booking fee in advance of £10 per stall/table/gazebo is required with ALL applications.
Whilst stalls are run at your own risk, it is imperative that ALL stall holders hold Public Liability Insurance, and supply Withernsea Town Council office a copy of their insurance certificate with their deposit by 3pm Friday 26th November.
Food stalls must forward copies of Food Hygiene Certification and provide their registration number with the local authority with their deposit, public liability insurance, gas safety certificate and the slip below.
The sale of snow spray/silly string or similar is prohibited.
Without the above documentation etc, permission will NOT be granted for a stall.
Marshals will be in attendance to oversee the arrival and positioning of stalls and rides.
