Stranded or Injured Seals

• Please keep people and dogs clear of the area.
• Do not approach or try to return the mammal to the water.
• They can give a nasty bite!

Stranded porpoise, dolphin or whale

• Please keep the animal upright.
• Keep it wet but avoid water going down its blow hole.
• Do not try to refloat.
• Avoid contact with animal’s breath as this can contain harmful pathogens.
